摘要: The aqueous electrochemistry of plutonium (Pu) has been explored for the first time on reduced graphene oxide modified glassy carbon electrode (rGO/GC). It confirmed that rGO/GC can catalyse Pu(IV)/Pu(III) redox reaction in 1 M H2SO4 and finally leads to high analytical sensitivity anodic square wave voltammetric determination Pu. However, decreases actual nuclear fuel sample [i.e. Mark-I (U, Pu)C dissolved H2SO4] due interference uranium (U). Furthermore, cathodic voltammograms U(VI) solution have found be very inconsistent. That inconsistency is explained by interfacial coupled chemical between U(IV) (just produced at working electrode) Pu(IV) diffusing from bulk vicinity electrode. why quantitative presence not feasible simple techniques any Although shows good robustness, reproducibility, repeatability, fast analysis least requirement additional reagents; but challenge still exists merits Pu competition with biamperometric method.
