摘要: Abstract The orange coloured single crystals of bis-(hexaamminecobalt(III)) tris-(hydrogenarsenate) tetrahydrate, [Co(NH 3 ) 6 ] 2 (HAsO 4 ·4H O, have been prepared by reacting aqueous solutions hexaamminecobalt(III) chloride with disodium hydrogenarsenate in 1:1 molar ratio. title complex salt was characterized elemental analyses and spectroscopic studies (IR, UV/visible). X-ray crystal structure determination the revealed presence discrete ions, i.e., cation 3+ anion HAsO − four water molecules solid state. A strong network hydrogen bond interactions (N–H⋯O (hydrogenarsenate), N–H⋯O (water), O–H⋯O (hydrogenarsenate)) stabilize lattice. formation definite measurement solubility products suggest that may be used as an receptor for anion.
