摘要: La PET (Positron Emission Tomography) e una tecnica di imaging tomografico per la quale stato coniato il termine metabolic imaging, volto a sottolineare suo peculiare razionale diagnostico, basato sull’identificazione caratterizzazione un tumore mediante l’impiego specifici radiofarmaci idonei evidenziare le differenze metaboliche esistenti tra questo i tessuti sani. Con infatti possibile studiare vari aspetti del metabolismo della biologia tumore, quali sua perfusione ematica glucidico aminoacidico; inoltre consentito valutare attivita proliferat iva presenza fenomeni ipossici nel contesto massa tumorale [1].
