摘要: Relapse remains a major problem in successful smoking cessation. This study evaluated selected responses and coping skills male female quitters relapsers four situational contexts: general social competence, smoking-specific "high-risk-for-relapse" situations, anxiety, relaxation. Results showed that coped better than with intrapersonal (e.g., negative mood) situations. Quitters had lower heart rates during relaxation situations anxiety scores at the end of procedures. Women more stress less confidence their ability to cope did men. Groups not differ competence are discussed context importance considering individual differences for treatment relapse prevention smokers.
