摘要: Epidemics caused by Phytophthora capsici were monitored in three commercial fields of bell pepper (Capsicum annuum) order to characterize the spatial progression symptom expression over rime and provide evidence for possible mechanisms inoculum dispersal. Spatial dynamics characterized using two dimensional distance class analysis. Symptom was nonrandom each field, quadrats containing dead plants or with wilt, crown lesions, stem lesions clearly aggregated. Wilting preceded symptoms, suggesting that root infection subsequent colonization crowns occurred most frequently. Large clusters wilt observed, these changed size time
