摘要: Previous studies of anthropometric factors and ovarian cancer risk have been inconsistent none evaluated the association among African–American women. Data from a population-based, case–control study 593 cases 628 controls were used to evaluate in relation weight, height, body mass index (BMI) waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). Odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) computed established adjusted for using logistic regression models, stratified by race. Among all races, weight at age 18, WHR, BMI one year prior interview associated with elevated risk. When race, between WHR was similar Whites African Americans. However, women fourth quartile height had an (OR = 3.2; CI 1.3–7.8), but this not apparent 1.0; CI␣ 0.7–1.4). These findings support hypothesis that obesity is important factor African–Americans also suggest may be specific African–Americans.
