摘要: This paper explores the potential of metallic 3-D printing technology for millimeter-wave (mmWave) applications. It uses selective laser melting (SLM) to melt Cu-15Sn powder layer by build up rectangular waveguides at $E$ - (60–90 GHz), $D$ (110–170 and $H$ -band (220–325 GHz). Different from nonmetallic printed waveguides, SLM are once in a whole piece. Postelectroplating assembling not necessary. Besides, waveguide also outperforms mechanical robustness. Compared with commercial demonstrate comparable performance averaged dissipative attenuation 7.51 dB/m 7.76 50- 100-mm respectively. The is acceptable -band. We prove mmWave applications both prototyping mass production.
