摘要: Many colleges and universities across the United States have adopted sustainability in their curriculum operations. Academic libraries need to support mission of university therefore must also play part education The library information science literature shows term “green library” be a hallmark for building with an environmentally friendly design. However, there are very few academic that LEED certified. I argue green is more than what architecture entails. By using example initiatives providing recommendations operations, it determined does not necessarily entail building, but involve mission.
