摘要: Activin, a member of the transforming growth factor beta protein family, was originally isolated from gonadal fluids and stimulates release pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Activin has numerous functions in both normal neoplastic cells. Various cells synthesize activin have specific binding site for this peptide. However, molecular basis its actions is unknown. A purified rat ovary identical to follistatin, inhibitor FSH release. It likely that participates diverse regulatory activin.
