摘要: Calculations of half-lives superheavy nuclei (SH) show an unexpected result: for some them heavy particle radioactivity (HPR) dominates over alpha decay—the main decay mode the majority recently discovered SHs. The result is important theory and future experiments producing heavier SHs with a substantial amount funding. standard identification technique by chains will be impossible these cases. HPR had been predicted in 1980 four years before first experiment. daughter mainly doubly magic \(^{208}\)Pb. We changed concept to allow emitted particles \(Z_e > 28\) from parents \(Z 110\) (daughter around \(^{208}\)Pb). find trend toward shorter larger branching ratios relative A new table measured masses AME11 theoretical LiMaZe01, KTUY05 FRDM95 tables are used determine Q-values.
