摘要: The IEA joint Task 42 / Annex 29 is aimed at developing compact thermal energy storage materials and systems. In Working Group B, experts are working on the development of applications, in areas cooling, domestic heating hot water industry. majority application projects were field room water. this article, an overview given a large number applications. technologies used applications latent heat storage, open closed solid sorption, liquid sorption salt hydrates composites thereof. On broad front, lot progress was made components systems, providing knowledge experience regarding design, numerical modeling, building, testing economical assessing Most important findings that interaction with can be deciding for technical feasibility, components, like reactor, exchangers evaporators less understood than initially thought need more development, inclusion systems generate new challenges occurrence non-condensable gases thermo-mechanical effects standardized simplified system approaches needed.
