摘要: PURPOSE: To characterize the quantitative properties of optokinetic response (OKR) in zebrafish larvae as a tool to test visual performance genetically modified larvae. METHODS: Horizontal OKR was triggered 5-day-old by stimulation with projected computer-generated gratings varying contrast, angular velocity, temporal and spatial frequency, brightness. Eye movements were analyzed custom-made eye tracker based on image analysis. RESULTS: The gain slow phase dependent contrast moving grating, but largely independent velocity logarithmically linear function grating slope approximately 0.8 per log unit contrast. CONCLUSIONS: larval is not scaled for stimulus frequency. These make valuable quantify behavioral such acuity, sensitivity, light adaptation. This paradigm will be useful analyzing mutant gene-knockdown zebrafish.
