摘要: Corona discharge refers to the phenomenon when electric field near a conductor is strong enough ionize dielectric surrounding it but not cause an electrical breakdown or arcing between conductors other components. This unwanted and dangerous in high-voltage systems; however, controlled corona may be used fluid induce motion by directly converting energy into kinetic energy. Phenomena that involve direct conversion of are known as electrohydrodynamic (EHD) have variety possible applications today. paper contains literature review research regarding EHD effects associated with discharges, from first observation most recent advancements on its mathematical modeling, well specific applications, such thrust, heat transfer improvement, boundary layer enhancement, drying, pumping, cooling.
