摘要: Increasing studies suggest the importance of including prospective memory measures in clinical evaluation dementia due to its sensitivity and functional relevance. The Prospective Retrospective Memory Questionnaire (PRQM) is originally a self-rated inventory that offers direct comparison between episodic memory. However, informant's report has been recognized as more valid source cognitive complaints. We thus aimed examine validity informant-rated form PRMQ assessing function patients detecting individuals with early dementia. informants 140 neurological outpatients complaints completed Taiwan version PRMQ. Tests memory, short-term general ability were also administered non-demented participants stages Alzheimer's disease (AD). Results showed significant relationships ratings objective measures, higher on associated increasing odds greater severity. Receiver operative characteristic (ROC) curves an adequate identify (93% 84% specificity). Hierarchical regression revealed additional explanatory power for status after controlling age, education test results, subscale owns predictive value beyond retrospective subscale. present study demonstrated external diagnostic informants' their respective patients' functioning, highlighted important role detection. proxy-version useful tool captures problems AD, combination standardized testing.
