摘要: Surface superconductivity in rhombohedral graphite is a robust phenomenon which can exist even when higher order hoppings between the layers lift topological protection of surface flat band and introduce quadratic dispersion electrons with heavy effective mass. We show that for weak pairing interaction, flat-band character transforms into BCS-like relation high critical temperature characterized by coupling constant due to much larger density states than bulk. Our results offer an explanation recent findings unusually transition temperature.
