摘要: Three hundred forty-two anonymous surveys regarding unwanted sexual experiences (USE) were filled out in three clinic sites: a pediatric abuse clinic, family practice and planning clinic. In the latter two clinics, 40% of females 16% males had at least one experience prior to turning 18 years old. Only 91% patients indicated their was unwanted. addition, 27% subjects wanted that illegal underreported: These involved partner 4 older or younger. While feelings victimization most common, self-blame naivete about also frequently reported, especially those who an USE with peer. Ambivalence, self-blame, peer pressure associated lower tendency disclose one's USE. Although less common Hispanic females, ambivalence more frequent comparison White females. findings have important investigative therapeutic implications for professionals encounter victims abuse.
