摘要: Abstract A computer simulation of single-evaporator domestic refrigerators charged with pure and mixed refrigerants has been performed in an attempt to screen out the best substitutes for R12. In simulating a steady-state thermal system, both successive substitution Newton-Raphson methods were employed independently yielded same results without any significant difference their performance. An extensive screening was carried 15 21 refrigerants. The indicate that few fluids may be drop-in replacements R12 due mismatch volumetric capacity, even if some such as R22, R15a, R142b R141b have comparable coefficient performance (COP) Only R22–R142b R32–R142b mixtures increases COP up 3% capacity short run, these substituted R12, thus helping solve ozone layer depletion problem change energy efficiency. More efficient heat exchangers are recommended one means increasing
