摘要: Venous blood provides a ready source of large numbers unstimulated granulocytes and mononuclear cells. Exploiting the differences in relative densities leukocytes circulating venous blood, one can separate from erythrocytes as well isolate individual leukocyte populations high purity for use ex vivo studies. For selected functional studies, such transcriptional analysis or cytokine quantitation, addition an immunomagnetic negative selection step to standard isolation protocol yield highly purified human neutrophils.
