Diagnosis of chest wall invasion by lung cancer: useful criteria for exclusion of the possibility of chest wall invasion with MR imaging.

摘要: Purpose To compare the accuracy of thin-section CT, conventional static MR imaging (conventional MRI), and breathing dynamic echo planar magnetic resonance (BDEPI) in evaluating lung cancer invasion to chest wall. Materials methods Thin-section MRI, BDEPI were performed preoperatively 20 patients suspected having primary cancers adjacent wall on CT. The results findings compared with those surgical histopathological findings. Results All confirmed have no after surgery. By 10 correctly diagnosed as (50% specificity). Two incorrectly by MRI (90% Conclusion When is CT scans, are recommended avoid false positive interpretations.
