摘要: A preference for a consistent point of view pervades narrative comprehension, memory, and production. Subjects read statements exhibiting faster than change in view, they rated the as more comprehensible statements. Futhermore, subjects tended to misrecall statements; when asked edit make ,them comprehensible, rewrote be consistent. Merely making character subject statement sufficed establish his dominant view.
