摘要: This paper provides evidence on the benefits and potential risks associated with foreign equity investment. The market volatility in Indonesia is examined relation to different types of transactions by local investors. Foreign selling has a significant impact throughout sample period, even though investors are net buyers Indonesian stocks accounts for only 13% daily trading. On other hand, among account 26% trading but do not affect volatility. large orders placed institutional improve depth liquidity. results clearly demonstrate that have volatility, using aggregate flows or may produce biased results.
