摘要: Abstract Pain-elicited aggression was measured in four groups of Wistar rats (five pairs per group) during electric shock sessions (100 shocks session, 1.3 mA, 0.5 sec duration). Two received injections tetrabenazine and saline, respectively, 90 min before each session. In the other two saline were alternated one group starting with saline. Tetrabenazine produced marked inhibition aggressive response, reducing its frequency to about 10% levels. However, an initial experience high a session significantly modified effects for subsequent injections, suppressing only 40% control values.
