摘要: In attempts at the analysis of highly complex process development, particularly mammalian central nervous system (CNS), there are two equal and opposite imperatives: complexity (to capture what undoubtedly complicated interactions between multiple components intact system) simplicity permit coherent comprehensible results). Clearly, a clever choice preparation is required such that level questions their resolution matched to possibilities inherent in system. For some questions, only behaviorally animal will be an appropriate preparation, while for others single, cloned gene may best. We have chosen dissociated cell cultures prepared from fetal (Ransom et al., 1977) as useful model study mechanisms synaptic action role electrical activity neuronal development. this chapter, we deal general way with properties system, including advantages disadvantages, then present detail results using spinal cord analyzing important vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) has mediating activity-dependent regulation addition, examine considerations investigating developmental effects neuropeptides finally influences on survival.
