摘要: The objective of this investigation was to establish the ability Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM) alcohol sensor detect different levels self-reported consumption, and determine whether gender body mass index, dependence, bracelet version, age influenced detection use. Heavy drinking adults (N = 66, 46% female) wore SCRAM for 1-28 days reported their use in daily Web-based surveys. Participant reports were matched with episodes identified from readings. On when bracelets functional, 690 502 those (72.8%) detected using data. Using generalized estimating equations, we found no differences (77% women, 69% men). In univariate analyses, at level fewer than 5 drinks, women's more likely be detected, because significantly higher transdermal concentration these episodes, whereas or there difference (92.6% 93.4% multivariable variables other number drinks predicted detection. summary, is very good detecting drinks; performance monitor below better among women levels. Individual person characteristics features not related after included. Minimal malfunctions noted.
