摘要: According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases are main cause of death worldwide. They may be caused by various factors or combinations factors. Frequently, endothelial dysfunction is involved in either development disorder results from it. On other hand, endothelium disordered for reasons, e.g., due infection, such as COVID-19. The understanding role and significance body has changed significantly over time-from a simple physical barrier complex system encompassing local systemic regulation numerous processes body. Endothelium disorders arise impairment one more signaling pathways affecting dilator constrictor activity, including nitric oxide-cyclic guanosine monophosphate activation, prostacyclin-cyclic adenosine phosphodiesterase inhibition, potassium channel activation intracellular calcium level inhibition. In this review, plants summarized sources biologically active substances endothelium. This paper compares individual mechanisms that known affect endothelium, which subsequently disorders.
