摘要: The human sexual response is a complicated biopsychosocial phenomenon in which internal and external stimuli are modulated by the central peripheral nervous system, resulting cascade of biochemical, hormonal circulatory changes that lead to cognitive physical arousal. In this article, current knowledge relationships between processes, mediated neuropeptides neurotransmitters, hypothalamo—pituitary—gonadal axis explored.Hormonal aspects arousability excitement mainly related androgens. possible influences therapies such as contraception perimenopausal hormone substitution described. main conclusion clinicians should be aware problems from circulating sex binding globulin free testosterone men women due endogenous or exogenous changes.
