摘要: Localization of wireless devices via the received signal strength (RSS) has become very popular in recent years owing to its economical and uncomplicated implementation. The performance RSS based location systems is highly dependent on knowledge propagation channel. An unrealistic assumption many current studies possession exact path-loss exponent (PLE). This letter deals with estimation coordinates unknown model. First, non-linear equations are linearized solution obtained using linear least square (LLS) solution. Second, order underline effects inaccurate PLE noisy channels coordinates, error analysis done when incorrect assumed, hence a closed form expression derived for mean (MSE) bias. Next, we transform LLS problem into single variable minimization estimate jointly PLE. Simulation results show that superlative impact MSE bias estimates. Further simulation shows proposed technique exhibits acceptable while estimating however estimates biased. In achieve higher accuracy, used as an initial our previously iterative algorithm [1]. resultant then compared Cramer-Rao bound improved convergence demonstrated.
