摘要: Abstract Steel caging is an effective, economical, easily applied and widely used method of strengthening RC columns. Based on the results two experimental studies, this paper proposes finite element modelling columns strengthened by a steel cage under axial loads bending moments. The FE models were to obtain N-M diagrams cases in which study was made improved resistance with type technique. also includes comparison different methods connecting around beam–column joint parametric observe influence diverse parameters behaviour column, including: angle dimensions, number strips, yield stress strengthening, dimensions capitals at both ends concrete strength characteristics reinforcement Finally, various tests (experimental numerical) described are be compared three design proposals goodness fit each one analysed.
