摘要: Abstract Various Pt/TiOx-C catalysts are synthesized by changing the temperature of synthesis TiOx from 500 to 1000 °C. The carbon support is a commercial multi-wall nanotubes. affects structure and morphology generating different types suboxides, ranging TiO2 anatase, rutile, Ti3O, Ti3O5. characterized means BET, EDX, XRD, ICP-MS analyses. obtained display Pt loading 13.6–19.2 wt.%, with Pt/Ti atomic ratio 0.177–0.194. electrochemically CV, CO stripping, LSV. presence Ti3O5 suboxide positively improves performance catalyst respect oxygen reduction reaction, enhances stability under potential cycling, an increase electrochemical active surface area (ECSA) compared Pt/Vulcan catalyst. After test for 4000 cycles in range 0.06–1.26 V vs RHE ECSA that resulted was equal 22.73 m2 gPt−1. Moreover, highly methanol tolerant.
