摘要: Nano-hydroxyapatite/chitosan (nc-HA/chitosan) composite coatings were produced on two phase (α+β) Ti6Al7Nb titanium alloy substrates by electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The microstructure of the was examined scanning- and transmission electron microscopy methods as well X-ray diffractometry. coatings, 770 nm–800 nm thick, uniform, without any cracks or presence large voids they exhibited good adhesion to substrate. consisted nc-HA needle-like particles homogeneously embedded in a chitosan matrix. deposited best determined for coating from suspensions containing 4 g/L HA at 10 V during 240 s. results confirm EPD convenient method develop uniform crack-free nanoscale organic-inorganic with potential application orthopedic dental implants.
