摘要: Large scale high yield cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanowires with uniform diameter were synthesized using a rapid and simple solvo-chemical hydrothermal route assisted by the surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). Unique CdS of different morphologies could be selectively produced only varying concentration CTAB in reaction system acetate, sulfur powder ethylenediamine. We obtained diameters 64–65 nm lengths up to several micrometers. A comparative study optical properties ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) Felix-017/100 doped 1% was performed. Response times order from 160 180 μs, rotational viscosities 5000 3000 mN s m−2 polarizations 10 70 nC cm−2 measured. also observed an anti-ferroelectric transition for FLC instead paraelectric pure FLC.
