Fatal bleeding from gastric ulceration during first day of life--possible association with social stress.

摘要: Death from haemorrhage is described in a 21-hour-old baby boy with acute gastric ulceration. Particular note made of the very high level psychosocial maternal stress during last trimester pregnancy. A causal relationship this and peptic ulceration suggested, gastrin as mediator.
