摘要: We present investigations of the spreading behavior nonvolatile liquids (high-molecular-weight polydimethylsiloxane) on smooth horizontal surfaces, and establish following: (1) existence a thin precursor film extending progressively ahead macroscopic front drops, that we directly visualize by polarized reflection microscopy; (2) universality kinetics, followed means simultaneous size contact-angle measurements, which appears insensitive to parameter $S$. Both points give strong experimental support recent theoretical developments.
