摘要: The Drosophila embryonic peripheral nervous system (PNS) contains segment-specific spatial patterns of sensory organs which derive from the ectoderm. Many studies have established that homeotic genes control segment specific characteristics epidermis, and more recently these also been shown to gut morphogenesis through their expression in visceral mesoderm (Tremml, G. Bienz, M. (1989), EMBO J. 8, 2677–2685). We report here roles establishing PNS. PNS was examined embryos homozygous for mutations Sex combs reduced (Scr), Antennapedia (Antp), Ultrabithorax (Ubx), abdominal-A (abd-A) Abdominal-B (Abd-B) with antibodies label subsets organs. Our results suggest correct normal domains expression. In addition, we effects ectopic labial (lab), Deformed (Dfd), Scr, Antp or Ubx on development Interestingly, while previous concluded Dfd, Scr has no effect segmental identity abdominal segments, our demonstrate this is not true. show does result disruption developing abdomen. are suggestive a role gene products regulating necessary generating progenitor cells
