Process improvements for fine cassiterite recovery at Wheal Jane

摘要: Abstract Increasing environmental pressure and lower tin prices have forced some smelters out of business those that remain in operation general rely upon receipt high grade concentrates order to satisfy and/or economic constraints. Carnon management successfully kept one step ahead these changes by continually striving produce cleaner concentrates. Over a period 12 years the fine cassiterite concentrate has increased from 5% 60%Sn without which company would not been able continue marketing it's product. This paper briefly describes evolution flotation circuit at Wheal Jane mill with particular reference improvements details metallurgical replacing column Mozley Multi Gravity Separator, as final stage cleaning.
