摘要: New discoveries of a feedback loop linking the brain to immune system and brain, often referred as “mind-body” relationships, are beginning unfold cellular molecular bases our ancient philosophy that all human diseases were simply matter mental attitudes (brain-derived) resistance environment (immunity-related). While mind is represented by possibly serves sensory organ or “mobile brain” belongs in body [1–4]. Accumulating evidence suggests there reciprocal structural-functional relationship between nervous which includes both central (CNS) peripheral (PNS). This unique fundamentally implies mechanisms may regulate responses and, conversely, immunocompetent cells control function nerve cells. Such conceptualization would likely be utmost pathophysiological significance because it hypothesizes existence dysregu-lation neuro-immune and/or immune-neural pathways various neuropsychiatric other [1, 5, 6]. review article will summarize immunoregulatory role some but not neuropeptides found CNS well PNS.
