摘要: We investigated the effect of intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy as consolidation therapy in stage IIIB-IIIC ovarian cancer, following cytoreductive surgery and systemic (cisplatin-cyclophosphamide--six cycles). Disease-free survival, overall side effects were compared with a control group patients who refused second-look chemotherapy. In multicenter prospective trial, 29 complete or optimal treatment included received Patients recruited between January 1991 December 1997. The was performed open-abdomen technique, using physiologic solution containing cisplatin 100 mg/m2, for 60 min phase (41-43 degrees C). Intraperitoneal locally systemically well tolerated. showed better 5-year survival rate lower recurrent disease rate, but differences not statistically significant. Our results suggest that is feasible, well-tolerated, promising alternative cancer.
