摘要: Introduction Metal-on-metal bearings for total hip arthroplasty are increasing in popularity. However, metal ion toxicity, hypersensitivity, and carcinogenicity the causes concern patients with metal-on-metal replacement. We investigated serum levels of cobalt chromium ions successfully implanted second-generation (THA) using PINNACLE-A (DePuy, Warsaw, IN, USA).
