摘要: Biocontrol of the mycotoxin aflatoxin utilizes non-aflatoxigenic strains Aspergillus flavus, which have variable success rates as biocontrol agents. One strain, NRRL 35739, is a notably poor agent. Its growth in artificial cultures and on peanut kernels was found to be slower than that two aflatoxigenic strains, 35739 exhibited less sporulation when grown peanuts. The strain did not greatly prevent accumulation. Comparison transcriptomes A. flavus AF36, AF70, 3357, WRRL 1519 indicated had increased relative expression six heat shock stress response proteins, with genes having read counts were 25 410 times more other four strains. These preliminary findings tracked current thought efficacy related ability out-compete ones. might due lower tolerance or overexpression response(s).
