摘要: Abstract The deep and superdeep boreholes of the German Continental Deep Drilling Program (KTB) provide probably most extensive data archive on in-situ properties metamorphic crustal rock from a single site. Analysis variability several geophysical parameters point out fractal features degree correlation between values comparable to 1/ f -noise. Accordingly, Earth's crust, at KTB site, can be statistically described as an inhomogeneous medium whose are basically invariant metre kilometre scale. Piecewise homogeneous models appear inadequate represent petrophysical properties, least in vertical dimension, -noise offers far more suitable concept simulate heterogeneities crust.
