摘要: Excimer pulse laser is one of the processing tools which can effectively modify metals surface by retention non-equilibrium characteristics. In present study, Ti alloy subjected to excimer pulsed treatment at a fluence ∼5 J cm−2 in argon atmosphere. The modified microstructures were analysed TEM. phase evaluation was done through XRD and TEM/SADP (Selected Area Diffraction Pattern). effective changes tribological behaviour evaluated fretting wear test. After 10 pulse, ultrafine grains size range ∼100–700 nm observed. However, 30 treated sample showed formation nanocrystalline with grain ∼30–70 nm nanoscale twinning spacing ∼10 nm. characteristic found improve after treatment.
