An enhanced buffer forwarding control scheme in smooth handover to improve TCP performance

摘要: Several handover schemes, such as smooth and fast handover, have been proposed to realize seamless handovers in mobile environment. However our simulation, even if IPv6 are implemented, TCP can not always be ensured achieve better performance due packets forwarding burst. Based on the analysis of with support this paper proposes an enhanced buffer control scheme improve performance. In scheme, a packet-pair probing technology is adopted estimate bandwidth new path from previous router (Prtr) node (MN), which used by Prtr buffered forwarding. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that than without it.
