摘要: The recently described taxon Drymoreomys albimaculatus is endemic to the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and its biology genetics are still poorly known. Herein, we present, for first time, karyotype of species using classical molecular cytogenetics, which showed 2n=62, FN=62, interstitial telomeric signals at sex chromosomes. Nuclear mitochondrial DNA sequences from two karyotyped individuals verify taxonomic identity as confirm relationship with other Oryzomyini. Additionally, external morphological information provided.
