摘要: The neurologic manifestations most frequently described in association with diabetes are caused by involvement of the peripheral nerves and nerve roots. Whether there is also a specific central nervous system has not been well documented. Pseudotabes diabetica diabetic amyotrophy probably can be explained on basis severe neuropathy or radiculopathy. According to fairly recent studies, however, both myelopathy encephalopathy may part process. In cases myelopathy, degeneration long tracts areas demyelination gliosis, as microinfarcts. encephalopathy, ganglion cells fibers cerebrum, brain stem, cerebellum; cell loss, gliosis; infarction secondary angiopathy.
