摘要: In the event that a vaccine is available during an influenza pandemic, safety monitoring will occur as part of comprehensive public health surveillance vaccination campaign. Though inactivated vaccines have been widely used in United States and much known about their profile, attention need to be paid both common self-limited adverse reactions rarer, more serious events may or not causally related vaccination. The primary systems generate test hypotheses concerns are Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Safety Datalink (VSD), respectively. Examples recent use these investigate enhancements planned for pandemic presented. Ethical issues addressed overall response include risk communication injury compensation. Advance planning technologic solutions needed respond scientific logistic challenges involved safely implementing mass pandemic.
