摘要: Abstract Trialkoxyboranes are conveniently synthesized in good to excellent yields from the corresponding alcohols or phenols and boric acid using calcium hydride as a drying agent. This method is successful for variety of sterically hindered alcohols. In new general route, trialkoxyboroxins formed under mild reaction conditions these same readily available materials. The trialkoxyboranes can be interconverted by addition stoichiometric amounts alcohols/phenols, presence hydride. Calcium most effective removal water. allows simple convenient route preparation useful previously inaccessible trialkoxyboroxins, further investigation applications.
