摘要: The non-equilibrium structural and dynamical properties of semiflexible polymers confined to two dimensions are investigated by molecular dynamics simulations. Three different scenarios considered: the force-extension relation tethered polymers, relaxation an initially stretched polymer, under shear flow. We find quantitative agreement with theoretical predictions for time dependence entropically contracting polymer. flow exhibit significant conformational changes at large rates, where less stiff extended flow, whereas rather contracted. In addition, aligned thereby two-dimensional behave similarly flexible in three dimensions. tumbling times display a power-law high rate rates exponent comparable one three-dimensional systems.
