Resolution and apodization in images generated by twin photons

摘要: We show that an image of object is obtained when at least one the photons a parametric down-converted pair illuminates and two are detected in coincidence after they have been transmitted by lenses. The mathematically described quantum fourth-order correlation function differs from classical description aspects. produced nonlocal effective lens whose aperture compressed convolution magnitude transmission functions. generated entangled state two-photon light source which wavelength equal to de Broglie {lambda}/2, where {lambda} associated individual photons. Images can be with resolution better than coherent sources. Better strong apodization effects observed.
