Hex-dominant mesh generation using 3D constrained triangulation

摘要: A method for decomposing a volume with prescribed quadrilateral surface mesh, into hexahedral-dominated mesh is proposed. With this method, known as Hex-Morphing (H-Morph), an initial tetrahedral provided. Tetrahedral are transformed and combined starting from the boundary working towards interior of volume. The faces hexahedra treated internal surfaces, which can be recovered using constrained triangulation techniques. Implementation details edge face recovery process included. Examples performance H-Morph algorithm also presented.
