摘要: Benzodiazepines, a class of commonly prescribed drugs, were shown to cause cognitive impairments in several domains. However, the effect benzodiazepines on social cognition is still unclear. In order clarify how administration affects identification facial expressions emotion (FEE), we conducted meta-analysis 8 empirical studies (N = 153 benzodiazepines, N placebo). Results showed that participants receiving less accurate at identifying anger compared with those placebo (M − 0.52). Regarding remaining expressions, did not reveal significant differences between groups. We discuss factors may explain emotions associated administration. Additionally, relevance assessing effects when used long-term basis addressed.
